The Grand Canyon was a ‘bucket list’ location that we were ecstatic to complete. We travelled to the North Rim, which is visited by only 10% of all Grand Canyon visitors. @flolum and I were completely awestruck. The kids thought it was pretty cool too.

Point Imperial was particularly memorable. The thunderstorm clouds provided a dramatic backdrop, we were speechless. We snapped away quietly, hoping we wouldn’t be struck by lightning. The rain started, so we ran back to the truck. As we closed our doors, we were slammed with a monstrous hail storm. #storybehindtheshot #dudeblog #instalumtrip

Point Imperial, the highest point on the North Rim at 8,803 feet (2,683 meters), overlooks the Painted Desert and the eastern end of Grand Canyon.
